Join a call

• In a voice room, the call bar is already open. Choose Join voice or Join with video.
• In any text room, use the camera button in the header to start or join that room's call.

Everyone in the same room joins the same call. While you're in it you can mute, turn your camera on or off, and share your screen from the call controls. Leave the call to close it.

Requirements

Calls run in the browser over LiveKit. Your browser asks for microphone and camera permission the first time. If the server hasn't been set up with LiveKit keys, the call bar says so and the join buttons are turned off.
